I spent a lot of time working on the tomatoes to make the ones on the vine look happy and 3D, while also making the one with the gas mask fit the same style. In the first draft the two groups of tomatoes were not working together, and the supporting text did not explain what the gas was. I edited the paragraph and played with the positioning of the headline text. I feel that the poster is now easily readable and draws the viewer in, but the bottom block of text still feels unresolved.

Hey Gina- I'd only seen the printed version of this poster, and it must have printed pretty dark so I couldn't see the tomatoes faces as well. I liked it before, but seeing how it was supposed to look I like it even more! The faces are adorable, it's a shame it didn't print like it was supposed to. Good job!

I think you did a lot to improve the little tomatoes. They come across better as characters than they did when the gassed tomatoes were faceless. I noticed the straps on the gas mask for the first time when looking at the poster online. I do think that the text at the bottom is unresolved, but the other text really leads your eyes through the poster and to the bottom. I think the amount of info at the bottom is important to your message, so maybe you could make it look more intentional (right now it could be mistaken for typical "fine print"). Just by putting a bubble around it or something would really tie it in and make it more appealing to read. I can also see your poster working well with color, which you could bring out in your series.
